What Is Pepper Dust?

Pepper Dust is a traditional very cheap dog and cat repellent, it is an easy to use powder that you spread around areas that you wish to discourage cats and dogs from using as a toilet.

What does it do?

To stop cats and dogs from fouling in your garden you have to break their toilet habit. This can take anything from 3 weeks to 3 months, but once they are in the habit of using another area they shouldn’t come back to your garden.

Pepper dust is a great inexpensive solution to this problem.

How does it do it?

Vitax pepper dust animal repellent contains 100% ground up pepper husks which confuse cat and dogs sense of smell. Must admit even I wouldn’t like a nose full of pepper!

If you can make cats and dogs use another area for their toilet instead of your lawn they will continue to leave your lawn and flowers alone. This may take anything from 3 weeks to 3 months… All cats and dogs are different.

Why should you use it?

Get your garden back! An easy to use cat and dog repellent that will rid your garden and lawn from cats and dogs that think it is their toilet.

Pepper dust is suitable for all areas such as lawns, flower beds, seedlings, veg plots, patios, paths and back yards.

Children and pets need not be excluded from treated areas.

Is it any good?

Vitax Pepper Dust Animal Repellent has mixed results; many buyers have good to excellent results from its use, while unfortunately for a few it’s a total failure.

The downside to pepper dust is that it does have to be re-applied after rain fall and strong winds.

Would I buy Pepper dust? …Here at StopUpest the answer is Yes

This is a cheap easy to use cat and dog repellent that does work (at the time of writing this I even found it discounted).

If after use I still had a problem, I would (taking advice from other users) use it together with an ultrasonic cat repellent…They would stand no chance!
